Africa-Press – Botswana. Upgrading of Khawa-Khuis and Khawa-Gakhibane roads to bitumen standard will be considered once the Ministry of Transport and Public Works completes the piloting of new technologies.
Minister Eric Molale told Ntlo ya Dikgosi that his ministry was currently piloting technologies and that once the pilot exercise was concluded on the identified roads, the technologies would be rolled out throughout the country.
He said as such, grading and gravelling of Khawa-Khuis and Khawa-Gakhibane roads would in the meantime continue to be carried out in the absence of a budget to upgrade them.
Kgosi David Toto â…¡ of Kgalagadi South had wanted to know when the Khawa-Khuis and Khawa-Gakhibane roads would be bituminised.
