Tsogwane visits two Toromoja bereaved families

Africa-Press – Botswana. Vice President Mr Slumber Tsogwane on Sunday visited the families of Kgosi Godfrey Serapo and Mr Calvin Kapetira who both died last month.

At the Serapos’ home, Mr Tsogwane said he had been shocked at the news of Kgosi Serapo’s demise only four days after learning that he was recuperating.

He implored the deceased’s family to trust in God’s plan, remain strong and to continue his legacy.

Mr Tsogwane said he worked closely with the deceased who served as headman of arbitration and Boteti representative at Ntlo ya Dikgosi.

The deceased’s son, Mr Ontlametse Serapo said his father, who died March 29, was admitted at Orapa Mine Hospital and later at Riverside Hospital Intensive Care Unit in Francistown.

He died at Nyangabgwe Referral Hospital where he had been referred.

Mr Kefiwang Bagatiseng thanked the vice president for demonstrating love, care and support towards the family during the most difficult time.

In the case of Mr Kapetira, who died March 22, the vice president learnt that the deceased had been ill for some time and had shuttled between Orapa Mine Hospital and Nyangabgwe Referral Hospital in search of medical treatment.

He died at the Francistown hospital.

Mr Tsogwane noted that the family had high expectations especially since the deceased was still in his youth.

He urged them to have trust in God.

Mr Tjikotoke Tjabo thanked Mr Tsogwane for his message saying it brought peace and comfort to the family.
