Africa-Press – Botswana. University of Botswana (UB) has suspended one of its staff members who is alleged to have been involved in acts of sexual misconduct.
A press release from the university states that the staff member has been suspended with immediate effect pending investigations on the matter.
The release says the suspension is in accordance with Section 10 of the University of Botswana Staff Disciplinary Regulations and Procedures.
Meanwhile, the release says the University of Botswana assures members of the public and its stakeholders of its commitment to zero tolerance to any form of sexual misconduct.
It also says the university will keep members of the public informed about any new developments relating to the matter.
