The updated interface brings a refreshed, modern design along with faster performance, smarter navigation, and several exciting new features designed to give users greater control and convenience, according to UPICtv manager, Ralph Kgabanyane, in a recent media statement.
“The upgrade underscores UPICtv’s mission to deliver a world-class streaming experience made in Botswana, for Batswana wherever,” he says.
Among the new features on the interface is Catch-Up TV, which allows users never to miss their favorite shows, as they can watch them anytime and anywhere.
There is also Live Rewind, allowing users to pause or rewind live TV, which gives users convenience and control.
Other additions include new channels and radio podcasts, faster load times and simplified navigation, to ensure a cleaner menus and layout, so that users can access what they want within few clocks.
The new and improved interface also has a personalised watchlists , where users can get content suggestions that match with their interest.
“With this upgrade, UPICtv continues to set the standard for digital entertainment in Botswana by combining cutting-edge technology with locally relevant content,” Kgabanyane explained.
UPICtv is a homegrown subscription based streaming platform that entertains, promote the production and uptake of Botswana content to be accessed anywhere in the world.
