The 1st edition of “Nos Corrida” takes place in the arteries of the cities of Praia and Mindelo, to celebrate the “Cape Verdean Sports Day”, which is celebrated annually on the 2nd Sunday of November.
The Largo da Quebra Canela, in the city of Praia, and Laginha, in Mindelo, are the arrival points for all the events that make up this collective celebration, through sports.
The initiative aims to promote a massive and inclusive participation activity, and lay the foundations for building a reference event and broad participation of the population, which could take place, annually and simultaneously, on the occasion of Sports Day, in all municipalities. from the country.
