The current President of the Sotavento Chamber of Commerce of Cape Verde and President of the Superior Council of Chambers of Commerce and Tourism of Cape Verde, was elected, this Tuesday, 29th, the new President of the CPLP Business Confederation. Rodrigues promises inclusive leadership.
The election took place at the headquarters of the CPLP, in Lisbon, and was attended by representatives of all countries in the community who, for the most part, had confidence in his candidacy, as reported by the CCB.
“The swearing-in of the governing bodies took place normally, leaving the new President to take office on a date to be announced”, he announced.

In his victory speech, Marcos Rodrigues highlighted the need for inclusive leadership in favor of the CE-CPLP and its associates, urging countries to pool energy for common success.
The CPLP Business Confederation was created in 2004, aiming at the development and cooperation of the business community within the CPLP space.
The objective is also to create an investment route within the member countries, with advantages for all.
