Africa-Press – Cape verde. The athlete from the island of São Nicolau Mily Brito won this Sunday the men’s athletics match, part of the festivities of the Municipality Day of Ribeira Brava 2022.
The athlete participating in the running competition at home, was stronger, beating the competition of Artur Silva, from the island of São Vicente, second place, and Edson Correia, from São Nicolau, third place.
The competition counted with a participation of eight athletes and a course of ten kilometers between Faja and Ribeira Brava.
In the veterans, Rony was the winner followed by Irani Cruz and Domingos Lopes.
In the sprint, Patrick Tavares won the men’s 100 meters, Daine Pires won the women’s and Bernardo Duarte won the men’s sub-12.
