Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Minister of Family, Inclusion and Social Development, Fernando Elísio Freire, who oversees migration, participates in the 6th Ministerial Conference of the “Euro-African Dialogue on Migration and Development” taking place today and tomorrow in Spain.
According to a note from the Government, the meeting is promoted by the Spanish Presidency of the Rabat Process and aims to identify current challenges in the field of migration and envision common solutions. As well, to reflect on the future perspectives of the Dialogue in order to strengthen its role within the framework of the global dialogue on migration.
The ministers responsible for migration from the countries that are part of the “Rabat Process” and representatives of regional and international organizations will participate in the event.
According to a press release accessed by Inforpress, Cape Verde has had an active participation within the Rabat Process.
