Africa-Press – Cape verde. The mayor of São Paulo, António Aleixo, is the new president of the Association of Municipalities of Santo Antão. The mayor thus succeeds Aníbal Fonseca as chairman of the board of directors of the aforementioned association.
Aníbal Fonseca has held the position of president of the Association of Municipalities of Santo Antão since March 2021, functions that, as of this Wednesday, will be carried out by the mayor of São Paulo.
The Intermunicipal Assembly of Santo Antão, which is meeting in Ribeira Grande, also discussed the activities plan and budget of the association of municipalities for 2023.
Setting January 17th as the day of Santo Antão was another matter on the agenda of the island’s intermunicipal assembly.
