The president of the Cape Verdean Olympic Committee, Filomena Fortes, together with her counterpart from São Tomé and Príncipe, João Costa Alegre, was received this Thursday in an audience by the Minister of Youth, Culture and Sports of Guinea-Bissau Bissau, Augusto Gomes.
As Inforpress learned from the COC, the two important entities of the International Olympism Movement are in Bissau to participate in the 1st Sports and Olympism Forum, which takes place this week.
Fortes and Costa Alegre were accompanied at this audience by the president of the Guinea Bissau Olympic Committee, Sergio Mané.
Filomena Fortes and João Costa Alegre are members of the International Olympic Committee, together with the São Tomé also assuming the functions of president of the Association of the Portuguese Speaking Olympic Committees (ACOLOP).
