Africa-Press – Cape verde. The general director of Arts, Adilson Gomes, pointed out the departure from informality of professionals in the cultural sector as the biggest gain, with the future approval of the Artist Statute in Cape Verde.
Adilson Gomes made this statement to Inforpress, on the sidelines of an open conversation about the proposal for a bill that creates the Statute of Professionals in Art and Culture, held this afternoon, in Praia, aimed at all professionals in the aforementioned sector.
As he explained, the Ministry of Culture, through the Directorate-General for Arts, promoted this conversation with the aim of listening to the artists and collecting their input for this phase of the process.
Adilson Gomes also added that an open conversation was also held with the same objectives on the island of São Vicente, noting that there was a good participation of the artists.
