Africa-Press – Cape verde. Casa do Munícipe de Ponta Verde, which will serve a large part of the population in the northern part of the municipality of São Filipe, is waiting for the arrival and installation of the ATM machine to start operating, according to the City Hall.
According to the mayor of São Filipe, Nuías Silva, as promised for this year, the Casa do Munícipe de Ponta Verde, the second to be opened in the interior of this municipality on the island of Fogo, is ready. After the installation at the beginning of the year of the Casa do Munícipe de Patim, the Casa do Munícipe de Ponta Verde is just missing the installation of the machine to start its operation.
The mayor said that the unavailability of this equipment, which has to be imported, delays the process of opening the Casa do Munícipe in Ponta Verde, which, like the one in Patim, will provide all City Hall services and other institutions such as the Post Office, Electra and Águabrava, as well as the installation of other services.
“We await the arrival of the ATM machine to be able to schedule the inauguration of Casa do Munícipe de Ponta Verde”, explained the mayor of São Filipe, assuring that later the municipality will study the possibility of creating other houses in other locations in the municipality.
