Africa-Press – Cape verde. The distinguished architect and man of culture, Nhonhô Hopffer, died in the early hours of January 2023. Frederico Hopffer Almada, as he was called, died in Praia after a long fight against cancer.
Being a friend of all and a man who is very present on social networks, among the messages of happy holidays and a happy new year, on the morning of this Sunday, January 1st, the regrets and lamentations on the part of family members arrive little by little on social networks. , friends and acquaintances.
Without fear, Nhonhô was one of the few men who assumed “bravely” and “without shame” his condition as a cancer patient, often seeking strength in social networks, often reciprocated with a lot of human warmth from his “audience”, friends in the Facebook.
The battle against this disease was fought between Cape Verde and the United States. Ultimately, he managed to get his last breath in his land to his last resting place in Nhagar Cemetery, Santa Catarina, as he wished.
Too bad he couldn’t release his third album that he called “survivor”. I prepared it so diligently…
