Africa-Press – Cape verde. The regional top-flight football championship suffers, this weekend, a new stoppage, to give way to the semi-finals of the Fire Cup, with the participation of two teams from São Filipe and two from Mosteiros.
The semi-final games are scheduled for 16:00 on Saturday the 25th.
According to the draw previously held at the São Lourenço field, the Académica team will receive Grito Povo, from Mosteiros, and, at the Francisco José Rodrigues Stadium, in Mosteiros, Nô Pintcha will receive the team from Valencia.
Second tier Regional Championship continues
The second tier regional championship, on the other hand, will continue with the games referring to the 12th round, since none of the lower tier teams are involved in the cup semi-final games.
União de São Lourenço, ranked sixth with the same 12 points as Parque Real, will face the red light, Brasilim with just four points.
Parque Real will measure forces with another team from Santa Catarina do Fogo, Baxada, which occupies the fifth position in the table with 13 points.
The leader of the second-tier regional team with 20 points, Juventus de Curral Grande will face the penultimate placed, Luz Abril, which has scored nine points in the games already played and the second, Juventude, with 17 points, will face the third-placed, Atlético with 15 points, both teams looking for victory to continue in the race for promotion to the top flight.
