Africa-Press – Cape verde. A grass field in Paul and two covered pavilions in Ribeira Grande, and in Porto Novo, are the sports investments that Santo Antão will receive between 2023 and 2024, informed today the Deputy Minister of the Prime Minister for Sport.
Carlos Monteiro, who was speaking in parliament during the debate on sport, said that the Government, in partnership with the municipalities, has in its portfolio “a very strong investment” in sport which, still in this year of 2023, will result in the inauguration, in May , the covered sports pavilion in Ribeira Grande, Santo Antão, and the grass on the football field in Paul.
Cidade das Pombas will have a grass soccer field
The government official said that the space that will receive the grass field in the city of Pombas, Paul, is already being prepared to be grassed, in a partnership between the Government and the city hall of São Paulo.
In the municipality of Porto Novo, the municipality is creating the conditions, together with the Government, with a view to building, in 2024, the covered sports pavilion in this municipality, Carlos Monteiro also assured.
