Boa Vista hosts the 2nd edition of the International Partners for Development Conference for two days

Africa-Press – Cape verde. The island of Boa Vista will host the 2nd edition of the International Partners for Development Conference from Thursday, April 27, an event aimed at boosting the economy of the country, under the theme “Driving changes and accelerating development”.

The opening ceremony will be presided over by the Prime Minister, Ulisses Correia e Silva, and the first day of the conference will feature the presentation of the strategic development document for the country by 2026 and a Round Table, which will be a moment for discussion between the Government of Cabo Verde and development partners.

According to a press release sent to Inforpress, the event will be attended by various national and international entities, including experts in financing and development.

The 2nd edition of the International Partners for Development Conference aims to create a “conducive environment” for debate, fulfilling the ambition of making Cabo Verde a “consolidated and modern” democracy, an “inclusive, digital, emerging and resilient” “Blue Nation”, a local circulation economy located in the Middle Atlantic, integrated into the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), with shared prosperity, a “useful and fully integrated” country in the World Economic System.
