According to a press release, on the first day of work, the President of the Republic will travel to UniMindelo, at 4 pm, for the solemn opening of the V International Congress of the Academic Network of Health Sciences of the CPLP, to promote exchange and the development of cooperation between Portuguese-speaking countries and communities.

On Thursday, the 4th, at 11:00 am, at the People’s Palace, the Highest Magistrate of the Nation awards, with the Medal of Merit, First Class, the Grémio Sportivo Castilho, an “inescapable association” in the history of the promotion of sport and culture, particularly music and theatre, in Cape Verde “due to its pioneering spirit and the quality and constancy of its contribution”, with an impact on the day-to-day life of San Vicente and on the quality of life of its people.

José Maria Neves closes the agenda in São Vicente at the Palácio do Povo, Saturday, 6th, at 5 pm, with the presentation of his book “No Ofício do Bem Comum”, a work that compiles the main communications of the Head of State throughout the first year of mandate.
