Africa-Press – Cape verde. The slots, until then held by TACV/ CV Airlines to Lisbon, Portugal, are for sale. The slots are managed by NAV – Navegação Aérea de Portugal, EPE.
According to news from RTP, in Portugal, TACV’s debts are at stake, which amount to around €211,000 (23,265,915$00).
The online auction, managed by an executive agency, started on June 19 and runs until July 12, 2023.
It should be recalled that the situation of the national airline flying the Cape Verdean flag has been problematic for a long time, accumulating debts, and more debts, for several years.
In order to try to keep the company active, the Government has granted successive bank guarantees, adding up to several million contos that weigh on taxpayers’ coffers.
