Africa-Press – Cape verde. PAICV Youth President Fidel Cardoso De Pina was elected Vice President of the International Union of Socialist Youth (IUSY) during the organization’s World Congress in Panama.
During that congress, the proposal presented by JPAI on the adoption of Portuguese as the official working language at IUSY was approved.
For the JPAI, this is “undoubtedly” a historic moment for the Youth of the PAICV, which becomes part of the highest decision-making body of the International Union of Socialist Youth.
The largest Youth Political Organization in the world celebrated its 115th anniversary this year. The entity encompasses more than 150 youth and socialist, social democratic and labor member organizations from different parts of the globe.
