Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Ministry of the Sea returns, this Friday, June 30, at 9:30 am, to the community of Rincão, in the Municipality of Santa Catarina de Santiago, 27 artisanal fishing vessels (boats) fibered. This action is part of the program contract signed with the Association for the Development of Women Fishermen from Rincão.
According to a press release, the fiber work aims to ensure better safety, durability and navigability of the vessels.
Still in Rincão, the first winch installed on the island of Santiago will also be delivered.
An instrument, claimed by the men of the sea, of support and aims to facilitate the dragging of boats in safety, in the most remote places.
Fiberage work was fully financed by the Ministry of the Sea, through the Fundo Autonomo das Pescas, in the amount of three million, nine hundred and fifteen thousand escudos.
The delivery of these vessels and the winch will be attended by the Minister of the Sea, Abraão Vicente.
