
Africa-Press – Cape verde. Two underprivileged families in the Boa Esperança neighborhood and two families from Povoação Velha received this weekend, their homes built from scratch, within the scope of the social program of the Boa Vista City Council called “Evolutive Housing”.
The delivery in Bairro da Boa Esperança took place on Friday, 30, in an act presided over by the mayor Cláudio Mendonça, according to a publication on the official Facebook page of the Boa Vista City Council.
The same source makes it known that the two social housing built from scratch are budgeted at more than 2,600 contos.
This action is part of the municipality’s social program, called “Evolutive Housing”, which aims to build and rehabilitate low-cost housing to provide a dignified life for the beneficiary families.
“We want to create suitable housing conditions for people”, highlighted Cláudio Mendonça, assuring that the improvement of the residents’ living conditions is one of the main priorities of the municipality of Boavista.

On the occasion, Dulcelina da Graça, one of the beneficiaries, expressed her immense gratitude for now being in her own house and in better living conditions.
Continuing with the project to improve the quality of life of families through social housing, this Sunday, the 2nd, the delivery of two more social housing will continue, this time in Povoação Velha.
