Africa-Press – Cape verde. The organization of the 2nd edition of the Festa do Queijo (Cheese Festival) in the town of Monte Grande wants to make this edition a showcase for presentation, exhibition and test of adherence to the purposes and objectives of the initiative.
The second edition of the Festa do Queijo festival in Monte Grande, in the southern part of the municipality of São Filipe, will take place from the 10th to the 15th of this month and, according to the president of the Ka Djidja Association, Pedro Matos, it is still in the test phase, remembering that the first edition, held in 2022, was for experimentation.
This second is considered a “showcase” to present, expose and see the issue of adherence to the purposes and objectives.
The first edition was held in May, but the second in July because the organization needs to define a calendar and two challenges arose in terms of dates, he explained.
