Africa-Press – Cape verde. The community of Fonte Aleixo-Sul, in the municipality of Santa Catarina do Fogo, will have its square built within the next five months, which represents an investment of around 16 million escudos.
The contract for the construction of the square was signed on Thursday, 06, between the mayor, Alberto Nunes, and representatives of two construction companies selected through public tender.
The firm Cosec – (Serviços, Comércio e Construção) will be in charge of executing lot I and the company Nova Esperança Construção will be responsible for carrying out the work on lot II.
Overall, the two companies have a period of just over four months to carry out the project, which is financed by the Government, through the Fund of Environment, Management, Recovery, Environmental Enhancement and Reforestation of the City.
