Africa-Press – Cape verde. The delegate of the Ministry of Education (ME) in the municipality of Porto Novo, Leonildo Oliveira, highlighted, Thursday night, the role of secondary school Progresso in promoting inclusive education, by betting on in post-work secondary education.
Leonildo Oliveira, who was speaking at the act of imposing ribbons on more than two dozen finalists in the twelfth year of this school, now in existence for 23 years, said that Porto Novo is “well served” with the Progresso secondary school, which has contributed to ensure successful recurrent teaching.
This level of education has been “a success” in the municipality of Porto Novo, thanks, above all, to the Progresso secondary school, which for more than two decades has trained “hundreds” of young people who, if it were not for this educational establishment, would run the risk of being left out of the education system, said this official.
Therefore, Leonildo Oliveira congratulated this school for the contribution that it is making to education in Porto Novo, emphasising the fact that it is operating “normally”, thus fulfilling all the requirements demanded by the Ministry of Education.
