Africa-Press – Cape verde. The President of the National Assembly, Austelino Correia, receives tonight, 23, his Senegalese counterpart, Amadou Mame Diop, who is visiting Cape Verde to strengthen diplomatic relations.
Cape Verde and the Senegalese delegation, which will remain in the country for four days, believe that the strengthening of diplomatic and friendly relations could bring benefits to the regional development process and the well-being of its citizens.
During their stay in Cape Verde, the Presidents of the Parliaments of Cape Verde and Senegal will deepen the dialogue on different areas and issues on which they want a deeper, more efficient and effective collaboration.
On Monday morning (24th) a tete-a-tete is expected between the Presidents of the two National Assemblies, followed by an extended meeting between the two parliamentary delegations and the signing of an agreement between the parties.
