Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Association of the Visually Impaired of Cabo Verde (Adevic) ended the 2022/2023 academic year with a pass rate of more than 90 (%) percent of students enrolled in the Escola de Cegos Manuel Júlio.

The information is from the president of Adevic, Marciano Monteiro, in statements to Inforpress, in a balance of the academic year 2022/2023, which he considered “very positive” because the failure rate was “low”.

“The academic year was a success, despite the difficulties we continue to face in terms of financial resources”, he said, recalling that the year was successful due also to the support of Japan with “some support” in terms of school material.

In addition to Japan, he also pointed out the partner companies that have contributed to the development of the Manuel Júlio School and to a better educational inclusion of blind students from primary to higher education.
