The first round of the 2023/24 edition of the Fogo em Futebol Cup, which is played between second-tier teams, begins today with the match between ABC de Patim and Atlântico.The first round involves ten of the 11 second-tier teams, with the exception of Luzabril, which qualified for the second round and which involves the first-tier teams.
The first round games are played at the São Lourenço field and at the Monte Pelado (Santa Catarina) and Francisco José Rodrigues stadiums, in Mosteiros.
In addition to the match between ABC de Patim – Atlântico, scheduled for today, at the São Lourenço field, on Saturday and at the same field the games União de São Lourenço – Brasilim and Spartak – Baxada will be held.
At Francisco José Rodrigues, Atlético, the only Mosteiros team that plays in the second tier, hosts Pavense de Santa Catarina and at the Monte Pelado stadium, Desportivo will face Parque Real.
