Africa-Press – Cape verde. French windsurfer from Guadeloupe in the Caribbean Antoine Martin, nominated for the PWA title in Sal, competes to win this season’s World Cup.

“I’m in this competition to win the 2022 Windsurfing World Cup, for sure. I’m focused on the title, because winning the competition for me is important. I’ve been on this adventure since I was very young and I’ve already reached the required level. It is certain that in this World Cup almost all we have world titles, but I’m committed to win”.

The sailor told Inforpress that he recognizes the “great quality of sailors”, but because he is currently in fourth place in the final qualifying stage, he will have to redouble his efforts, techniques and strategy to try to lock the best positioned.

He said he expects with great anxiety for the resumption of the competition this Thursday, in Ponta Preta, a beach this specialist classifies as the best in the world for the practice of water sports, especially for windsurfing.
