Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Robinson Group intends to open a new hotel on the island of Boa Vista, with 322 rooms, announced the group’s regional director for Spain, Portugal and Cape Verde, who presented the investment project to the local mayor today.
In a meeting today with the mayor of Boa Vista, Cláudio Mendonça, the manager of the hotel group, Holger Reinshagen, presented the project that foresees the construction of a complex with 322 rooms and several amenities that “meet the high standards” of Robinson Club, a premium brand of the TUI Group.
According to representatives of the chain, the hotel’s activities will begin between December 2026 and early 2027, a subject that, according to information provided by the city hall on its official Facebook page, served as the basis for the meeting with Mayor Claudio Mendonça.
Cláudio Mendonça said it is an “honor” to receive a “premium level” investment in Boa Vista, which, according to the mayor, will contribute to improving the quality of tourist services and reinforce the island’s visibility as a sustainable destination.
“We welcome the initiative of the Robinson network to replace the TUI Magic Life concept with Robinson, the premium brand of the TUI Group.
