Africa-Press – Cape verde. CV Interilhas announced today that it will operate an extraordinary trip on the Santiago-São Vicente route, intended for the urgent transportation of essential aid and materials for the National Directorate of Civil Protection.
The measure follows the declaration of a public calamity on the island of São Vicente, aiming to strengthen the response to the needs of the local population, according to a statement the company posted on Facebook.
Due to this operation, the Santiago-Maio-Santiago trip, initially scheduled for tomorrow, the 13th, at 7:00 am, will be rescheduled for 5:00 pm the same day.
The company thanked the passengers affected by the change for their understanding and reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the island.
