
Africa-Press – Cape verde. The national football team ended on Monday the cycle of friendly matches in Europe, with a 2-0 victory over the counterpart of San Marino.
In a match held at the Pinatar Arena in the city of Murcia (Spain), Cabo Verde’s goals were scored by Keni Rocha and Papalelé, one in each half of the game.
Cabo Verde ends the friendly cycle with three wins, after victories over Guadeloupe (2-0) and Liechtenstein, 6-0.
These games served as preparation for the CAN 2023 qualifiers, the final stage of which will take place in Côte d’Ivoire.
The initial eleven from Cabo Verde: Márcio da Rosa (goalkeeper), Cláudio Tavares, Logan Costa, Steven Pereira, Ludovic Soares, Kevin Pina, Kenny Rocha (C), Leandro Andrade, Vasco Lopes, Bebé and Papalele.
They also played: Iuri Tavares, Nuno Borges, Dinei Borges, Gilson Tavares, Lisandro Semedo and Jamiro Monteiro.
