Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Regulatory Council of the Regulatory Agency for Social Communication (ARC) informs that, in its ordinary session held this Tuesday, the 17th, it decided to open an investigation into the Cape Verde Television (TCV).
In a statement, the ARC stressed that the decision follows the news piece entitled “Gilson Alves presented his candidacy and says that, if elected, he will be an authoritarian president,” broadcast on the Jornal da Noite on February 16th.
According to the ARC, the process aims to ascertain any potential liabilities regarding compliance with the legal and regulatory norms applicable to the exercise of social communication activity.
