According to a note from the Government, the plan to be presented in Santo Antão is focused on Credit Lines for Agriculture and Fisheries.
“The objective is to relaunch economic activity by increasing the climate of confidence of economic agents, releasing the growth potential of the economy by accelerating the transformation and diversification of the economy with a focus on economic, financial, social and digital inclusion, as well as reducing the poverty and acceleration of the promotion of decent work and entrepreneurship”, he explained.
In relation to agricultural credit lines, what is wanted, says the same source, is to transform subsistence agriculture into high-yield agriculture, generate good jobs with good salaries, improve the sector’s participation in GDP and combat food insecurity and nutritional support, with a total credit line amount of 300,000,000 ECV.
