Africa-Press – Cape verde. The International Labor Organization, in partnership with the Ministry of Family, Inclusion and Social Development (MFIDS), holds, from August 29 to 31, the Workshop for the formulation of the Country Program for Decent Work (PPTD).
The program, as noted in the MFIDS, appears as an auxiliary instrument that can significantly contribute to the achievement of the goals of inclusive growth, poverty reduction, expansion of social protection, promotion of international labor standards and promotion of social dialogue.
“The workshop aims to strengthen the capacities of tripartite constituents in the process of formulating the Decent Work Country Program (PPTD) and Results-Based Management (GAR), which is its optimization tool”, he indicates.
Still, adds the same source, it aims to identify the new priorities and the main lines of activities to feed the content of the new PPTD, as well as to lay the foundations for a good appropriation of this new cooperation document, through an inclusive and sustained participation on the part of of the tripartite principals.
The opening ceremony of the event will take place on Monday, at 8:30 am and will be presided over by the Minister of Family, Inclusion and Social Development, Fernando Elísio Freire.
It also has the presence of the Director of the Decent Work Support Team and the Director of the Dakar Office of the International Labor Organization, Dramane Haidara, in addition to the social partners.
