Africa-Press – Cape verde. The 3rd volume of the anthology “Elos da Língua Portuguesa” is dedicated to Cape Verde. The book is launched this Monday, 5th, in Brazil, in Rio Preto, São Paulo. In Cape Verde, it is expected to be presented in October 2023. The project aims to promote literary exchange between writers and readers from the nine Portuguese-speaking countries.
The 3rd volume of the anthology “Elos da Língua Portuguesa” is dedicated to Cape Verde, involving the participation of approximately 80 writers from six countries.
As the Mirassol – Portal da Cidade website advances, in addition to texts by authors from the honored country, Cape Verde, this third volume also brings writers from Brazil, Portugal, Angola, Guinea Bissau and Mozambique.
“Links of the Portuguese Language”, what is it?
“Elos da Língua Portuguesa” is an initiative of Tertúlia Lusófona, a movement idealized by teacher and writer Samira Camargo, from São José do Rio Preto, in partnership with Abresc (Brazilian Academy of Writers), chaired by João Paulo Vani. and the APP (Portuguese Association of Poets), coordinated by Maria Graça Melo, from Lisbon.

The first release of the third volume “Elos da Língua Portuguesa” takes place today at Shopping Riopreto, at 7 pm. According to the same source, then it will be São Paulo’s turn, on February 11, 2023.
The launch in Cape Verde is scheduled for October next year.
Initiated in 2018, the “Elos da Língua Portuguesa” project has already had two volumes released, the first dedicated to the presentation of the project and the second in honor of Guinea Bissau.
