
Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Minister of the Sea, Abraão Vicente, met today with the Vice Prime Minister to discuss the construction projects for the maritime stations in Fogo, Praia, Maio and São Nicolau, which have already been finalised by Enapor.
The meeting, according to information provided by the Ministry of the Sea, took place today in Mindelo, where the Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Olavo Correia, is carrying out a work agenda.
According to the same source, the agenda for the meeting between the two leaders included the projects to build maritime stations on the islands of Maio, Fogo, São Nicolau and Praia, whose plans have already been finalised by the port management company (Enapor) and which aim to give passengers “greater dignity and a better travel experience”.
The meeting, according to information from the Ministry of the Sea, also served for Abraão Vicente to address various projects in the sea sector and the process of implementing the blue economy, including the update of the price list for maritime transport, which, he asserted, is being concluded and the diploma will soon be submitted for approval.
