Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Association for the Defense of the Environment and Development (ADAD) will deliver, this afternoon, 6, basic food baskets to 15 of the 35 families affected by the fire in the Natural Park of Serra Malagueta.
They are basic baskets that contain essential food and hygiene products, to help those who need it most and had some losses in the fire.
“ADAD comes to express its deep feeling of sadness for the fire in the Natural Park of Serra Malagueta. As an environmental NGO, we could not remain indifferent to this tragedy and our solidarity goes out to those who lost everything to this disaster”, writes the NGO.
In addition to this initiative, ADAD and its partners will help with cleaning and awareness campaigns and mobilize financial and human resources for the recovery of the natural park.
