Africa-Press – Cape verde. Águas de Santiago (AdS) announced today that the recent interruption in water supply in the city of Praia has been resolved. The company reported that the fault was resolved on the morning of Wednesday, 5th, and normal water production was resumed.
According to the statement released by AdS, water distribution will gradually return to normal in the coming days.
“Águas de Santiago has made every effort to resolve this situation as quickly as possible, therefore, we hope that you understand the inconvenience caused,” stated the company.
It should be noted that on Tuesday, the 4th, AdS reported that due to a breakdown in the water desalination units , the availability of water for the municipality of Praia had been temporarily reduced since the afternoon of Monday, the 3rd.
