Africa-Press – Cape verde. The III Volume of the anthology “Women and Their Destinations”, coordinated by Lena Marçal, arrives to the public on International Women’s Day, March 8. This time, men also participate, and it has a “special message” from the writer Germano Almeida, for women.

The coordination of the anthology “Women and Their Destinations” announces the third volume of the work for next March, more specifically, on the 8th, International Women’s Day.

The project, which has a social nature, is coordinated by Professor Lena Marçal.

This year’s volume, according to the project’s mentor, features “special messages” from “two distinguished guests”, namely the writer and Camões Prize 2018, Germano Almeida, and the writer Carlota Alves, the latter honored in April 2022, by SOCA Magazine.

“Women and Their Destinations” is divided into two books, comprising poem/painting and prose.

This Brazilian writer and doctor congratulated Cape Verdean women “for the initiative to create a project that rescues the value of women in that country and in the rest of the world”, adding that “talking about women is, in itself, a great responsibility , a challenge”.
