Africa-Press – Cape verde. The National Stadium, in Achada de São Filipe (outskirts of Praia), will host the II “Electronic Timing Course” from the 25th to the 27th of April, at the PALOP (Portuguese-speaking African Countries) level.
According to the Cape Verdean Athletics Federation (FCA) – cited by Inforpress -, the Initiative is intended to encourage, increasingly, the use of Modern Technological Tools to Support National Competitions in the PALOP.
The training is aimed at coaches from the Athletics Federations of the aforementioned countries and sponsored by the African Athletics Development Center, based in Dakar (AADC/DAKAR) – the Capital of Senegal.
The National Stadium has a Tartan track for eight runners, around the Football Field, certified by the International Athletics Federation (IAAF) and has been the stage for the National Events of the Sport.
