Africa-Press – Cape verde. Gerson Delgado, the first Brava citizen selected to participate in the Mandela Washington Fellowship program for young African Leaders (YALI) 2022, said he intends to increase his knowledge and skills.

Speaking to the press, Gerson Delgado said that there are a lot of prospects, among them “increasing” his knowledge and skills both professionally and also interculturally.

Gerson Delgado will be part of a group of 700 young Africans who at the university will also have colleagues from the United States of America and other parts of the world, considering this an “opportunity for personal and professional development”.

One of the courses he will attend is in leading public management at Bridgewater State University, looking to learn and assimilate issues that will support him in his day-to-day working life, personal and knowledge to share with others here on the island.
