Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Brava District Court sentenced a male individual to eight years in prison this Saturday for drug trafficking and qualified theft.

This information was provided to Inforpress by a judicial source, explaining that the individual, aged 22, lived in Nova Sintra.

The same source also indicated that the Public Prosecutor’s Office today ordered preventive detention for a 27-year-old man, also suspected of drug trafficking.

The individual, also male and resident in the town of Cova de Joana, was arrested by the National Police, caught in the act, and brought before the Public Prosecutor’s Office for the first judicial interrogation, having been applied, as the most serious coercive measure, preventive detention.
