Africa-Press – Cape verde. Cabo Verde has so far issued more than half a million electronic invoices, according to the National Director of State Revenues (DNRE), Liza Vaz, in the city of Praia on Tuesday.
“In very round statistical terms, we are already reaching more than half a million documents issued and for sure the electronic invoice really reach people’s minds, it is already a reality”, announced the DNRE during the opening of a clarification session on the electronic invoice addressed to the economic operators of Praia and Mindelo, promoted by DNRE in partnership with the Chambers of Commerce, via Zoom.
According to this official, this was only possible because there was confidence in the team, in the technical capabilities, in the project, confidence of technical partners such as the IMF and the European Union, in addition to the confidence of taxpayers.
In her speech, Luiza Vaz reiterated that DNRE is proposing that economic transactions be communicated directly to the tax administration essentially online and accredited by the digital certificate.
