Africa-Press – Cape verde. On the 12th and 13th of June, the island of Sal will host the “Cabo Verde Investment Forum” (CVIF), organized by the Government and which will bring together national and international investors and businesspeople, including the Angolan Minister of Tourism.
Márcio de Jesus Lopes Daniel will be on an official visit to Cape Verde from this Tuesday, 11th, until the 14th of June, to exchange experiences and views on plans and ambitions.
The Cabo Verde Investment Forum will bring together national and international businesspeople and investors from various backgrounds, according to a statement sent to Inforpress today.
“ Angola and Cape Verde enjoy excellent relations at all levels and both Governments have chosen as their objective the construction of a comprehensive strategic partnership, focusing on permanent political dialogue at the highest level and economic-business and technical-institutional cooperation diverse and mutually advantageous” , reads the document.
For Cape Verde, according to the same source, tourism stands out as a promising and catalytic sector and, with perseverance and assertiveness, rising and facing the opportunities and challenges that the country faces, in the certainty that the sector is strategic.
According to the Government, indicators of its impact on the economy and society are evident as an indispensable factor in economic growth, territorial cohesion, social inclusion and environmental balance, towards sustainable development.
