Africa-Press – Cape verde. The executive director of Cabo Verde TradeInvest assured this Monday, in the City of Praia, that the “Cabo Verde Investment Forum”, scheduled for February 4, in Dubai, will be the “ideal platform” for the Cabo Verdean economy growth.
The “Cabo Verde Investment Forum” (CVIF) is part of the national representation of the Expo 2020 Dubai world fair and aims to share development strategies and business opportunities with a view to mobilising funding for ongoing projects.
In an interview with Inforpress, Ana Maia said that within the Government’s strategy, “which is focused on economic diversification”, in this forum will be presented three public projects in agri-business, as well as on the technological park and the Special Maritime Economic Zone of São Vicente.
The person responsible explained that projects from other sectors were selected in this edition, rather than tourism as a way to boost the economy, taking into account the post-COVID-19 prospects.
