Africa-Press – Cape verde. Cabo Verdean international midfielder Nenass join the Creole national team’s training for the first time in Yaoundé (Cameroon) tonight, after negative test of screening for COVID-19, to which the entire Cabo Verdean delegation was submitted on Tuesday.
According to information sent to Inforpress by the Cabo Verdean Football Federation (FCF), “Nenass, who at the airport (Yaoundé) had tested positive, had a negative test and today will be able to train with the team”.
The footballers Keven Ramos, João Paulo Fernandes and Gilson Tavares, whose test results is positive in Cameroon, returned to test positive, joing now the midfielder Nuno Borges who tested positive for the first time.
The Blue Sharks, the name for which the national team of Cabo Verde is known, will return to training tonight for Thursday’s match against Burkina Faso, still without head coach Pedro Brito “Bubista”, who remains stranded in the City of Praia waiting for a negative test to COVID-19.
