Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Cape Verde Cultural Center (CCCV) in Portugal will host this Saturday, June 1st, a children’s story session with Carla Correia, on the occasion of World Children’s Day, according to a statement sent to this digital diary.
With free entry, the event is the result of a partnership between the CCCV and the Australian Embassy in Portugal, which takes place this Saturday, at 4:30 pm, with special guest, Brenda Segura, a Mexican artist.
According to a note that Asemanaonline had access to, the Portuguese Cape Verdean Carla Correia, transports us with her voice to a multicultural universe that combines traditional stories from Cape Verde with the adventurous spirit of a Portuguese-speaking boy who sets out to discover from Australia.
In addition to Carla, the World Children’s Day celebration session also features Mexican Brenda Segura “who brings us her ‘Maripi’ hidden in a piñata that overflows with the colors of Cape Verde, Australia and Mexico and takes us on a journey intercontinental that crosses four continents, Africa, Europe, Oceania and South America, and shows the best that children have to offer, their innocent vision of a world where everyone is equal”, says the note we have been quoting.
