The União Desportiva de Santo Crucifixo team , from the sporting region of Santo Antão Norte , won, this Saturday afternoon, the AJAT-SN team from Tarrafal de São Nicolau by 1-0, in a game counting for the first round of the Cup of Cape Verde in football played at Estádio João Serra in the City of Ponta do Sol, Municipality of Ribeira Grande de Santo Antão.
The winning goal for Santo Crucifixo was scored in the 23rd minute of the second half, Nelson who finished with a header from a cross by a teammate.
