Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Cape Verdean senior men’s basketball team debuts on Thursday, the 27th, in the first qualifying window for the 2027 World Cup against Cameroon in the opening round of Group A in Radés, Tunisia.
The Cape Verdean-Tunisian match will be played at the Radés Multipurpose Hall at 9:00 local time, the same venue that three hours later will host the other game in this group between the national teams of South Sudan and Libya. This is the first qualifying window for the FIBA 2027 World Basketball Championship, which will take place between the 27th and 30th of this month.
Cape Verde plays again on Friday, the 28th, in the second round, this time against South Sudan, a match preceding the confrontation between Libya and Morocco.
