Africa-Press – Cape verde. Cape Verdean production company Korikaroxu Films has been invited to produce the film “Kloho”, or “Heritage”, a feature documentary project by Ivorian filmmaker Estelle Kone.
The announcement was made by the producer who said she was “proud” of Estelle Kone’s invitation and the South/South, Ivory Coast/Cabo Verde partnership.
The director of Korikaxoru Films, Natasha Craveiro, told Inforpress that the first contact with Estelle occurred during a first writing residency in Burkina Faso and then at the Pan African Film and Television Festival in Ouagadougou (Fespaco), where the idea of this partnership arose.
“We are in the development phase of the project, we have already made submissions, now we are going to submit submissions for development funds and later editing funds”, he said, adding that the intention is for the film to be shot in 2024.
